SOUTH OGDEN — Are you a fan of doughnuts? Did you know that June 1 is National Doughnut Day?

If you said yes to either of those questions, you may want to stop by South Ogden on Friday for the grand opening of Mountain Donuts at 3836 Washington Blvd.

The shop makes personalized doughnuts that are cooked fresh when you order and served warm. They also allow patrons to add their favorite toppings and create their very own custom doughnut, according to the business’ website.

If you’re an early riser with a thing for warm, doughnutty goodness, the shop is giving away free doughnuts for a year to the first 10 customers at their store Friday morning. The next 10 customers will receive free doughnuts for six months, and the next 10 after that will get free doughnuts for a month.

If you’re a little late to the party, no worries. As long as you’re one of the first 100 people at the store on Friday, you will get a doughnut on the house.

The store is open Monday through Saturday starting at 6:30 a.m., according to its website.
