Body found in BDO canal identified as missing woman

OGDEN — The body of a woman found in the Business Depot Ogden Sunday has been identified. 

Hilary Halliday, 41, was found by police around 4:15 p.m. Sunday. 

Halliday was reported as a missing person to the Ogden Police on June 26, according to a press release from the OPD. 

Police were called to 1000 West and 600 North in the BDO where they located her body in a canal.

The investigation into her death is ongoing, according to Ogden Police Lt. Tim Scott. 

Scott said her autopsy has been completed, but Halliday’s cause of death has not yet been determined.
